Inkido Challenge - Our Roots

Inkido has a challenge at the moment to create a layout that incorporates your roots and this is their inspirational mood board for it.

 I didn't really have much in my stash to represent my roots other than some glorious beach photos taken at sunset at Port Phillip Bay on the last day of summer, so that's what I scrapped.

I wanted my layout to look rustic but fairly clean, so I did a little light stencilling and inking on the background. I also added some water drops and a small amount of white paint to represent the foam of the waves. I made a rustic beach sign and hand cut my embellishments, most of which are native animals. Here's a few more photos of the elements in my layout.
