Colorful Creations - September 2nd Sketch Challenge

Hello Everybody

 

Earlier this month I discovered Colorful Creations Sketch Challenge and I entered their first challenge for the month. They have two challenges each month and, because I like their inspirational sketch, I decided to enter the second challenge too. Here is their sketch that I based my layout on.

 

 

I like the clean lines of this sketch because it places the emphasis on the photo but still allows a lot of room for creativity. This is the page I came up with. I hope you like it.

 

 

I love this photo of my eldest son, who is now 21 years old, because it shows his thoughtful, serious side.  Because the sketch design is so well constructed, I could use lots of colour on the layout without detracting from the photo.
