I've been pretty busy this month but decided at the last minute that I just have enough time to enter the Archi-Scraps November Challenge. The challenge is to scrap a song title and this is the inspirational photo.
I love this building, it's so unique. I recently visited Hobbiton in New Zealand and loved the buildings there too. I'm a Hobbit/Lord of The Rings fan so I decided to scrapbook a couple of the buildings at Hobbiton and use a JRR Tolkien song title and lyrics on my layout .... seemed appropriate.
I loved the overall environment at Hobbiton, the surrounding farmland, the mill and the inn. I wanted to include some of these elements but without making my page too crowded. I did this by turning some of my photos into background paper. I was please with the ethereal effect this gave my page. I hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers until next time.

DeleteOOOOhhh, I'm a big LOTR fan too. Nearly time for the next movie. How luck to visit the buildings themselves. Wow. Terrific page and perfect interpretation of the theme. Good on you for joining in at Archiscraps Wendy.

ReplyDeleteWhat a treat for you! We are going to see the next Hobbit movie for our anniversary as it is released that day. Especially like how you curved the line of lyrics like the inspiration & added a canvas effect to the background photo. Thanks for playing along at Archi-scraps!
