A couple of weeks ago I was invited to join the design team for Scrap It With Attitude (SIWA). Of course I couldn't refuse! This is a fabulous group that I have been following for a while now, joining the challenges, learning techniques from the tutorials and just having fun with like minded people. I've had a lot going on this year and haven't been able to go to many scrapbooking get togethers so I've really appreciated being able to still keep in touch and indulge in my passion in my own time. Each month there is a sketch challenge and a design team challenge. The design team challenge for this month was to scrap that imperfect photo and this is my contribution.
The photo is of my son Andrew when he was four years old. We lived in Malaysia at the time and my husband and I tried desperately to get a good (serious) photo of him to send back home to Australia. Of course, he was having nothing to do with it. Andrew is now a very serious almost 21 year old so I cherish that imperfect photo of the little boy that was dancing to the beat of his own drum. Now, my challenge is what to do when it's my turn to think of the design team challenge????
