Stick It Down Sketch Challenge: Break A Leg

I found a double layout sketch challenge over at Stick It Down http://stickitdown.blogspot.com.au/2014/01/tuesday-sketch-challenge_28.html

I had some photos taken at the end of 2011 of my youngest son in the end of year performance for his drama academy. The photos were taken with a phone and came out with a blue tinge so I really didn't know what to do with them. When I saw the double layout sketch I thought it would be perfect for these photos and I immediately started thinking how I could make the layout theatrical and bling it up a bit, and this is what happened:

.

I stuck reasonable close to the sketch but I added the paisley border and the ribbons/bunting I changed to resemble stage curtains.

You can't see it very well on the photos but the stars are glittery and I've covered the chipboard elements in Kindy Glitz to give a more blinged up theatrical look.

Thanks for stopping by. :)
