Words and Paintery October Challenge

So happy to see a brand new challenge blog; it's called Words and Paintery and this is the inspiration for their very first challenge.

This is one challenge that really stretched me because I'm not a painter by any means. However, I decided to bite the bullet and try it. I used lots of water colour  paint, and some chipboard, on my layout to create a faux background for my photo and this is what I came up with.

This photo of my boys brings back fond memories of a fabulous family holiday we had in the US a few years back. It's dark here in Melbourne at the moment and it's a shame I can't get a more accurate picture of the layout but I think you'll get the idea. Here's some close ups.

Thank you for stopping by once again. Cheers until next time.
