ARTastic December Challenge

December already! What better time to use an inspirational artwork that features baubles, and that's exactly what "Merry Christmas" by Alice Ju is all about. This is the featured inspirational art for the December challenge at ARTastic Challenge Blog.

You can use this piece in any way you want to inspire your project, with the added requirement that you must use GOLD. Here is how I interpreted the challenge.

The Christmas photos in my layout are four years old. I used these photos because they remind me of one of our more unusual Christmas parties. Unusual in the sense that it was in a wildlife park and part of the celebration was a bus tour to see the animals. Usually at Christmas the only wildlife we get to see are our family pets hanging around for their Christmas lunch! This time we saw lions, hippos, deer, giraffes, and much more. My husband helped Santa to distribute the presents and the look on the kid’s faces was priceless, ranging from terror to bewilderment to sheer delight. I enjoyed using lots of gold on my page because it really added the final festive touch.

Come over to ARTastic to learn more about Alice Ju and see how her artwork inspired the other Creative Team members. We would also love to see your work, and you could win a prize from Mystical Scrapbooks or Flourish with a Bling. You will also have a chance to win a random draw prize that will be donated by one of our Creative Team members.

Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and New Year. To those that don't celebrate Christmas, I wish you a peaceful, wonderful December.

Thank you to everybody who has encouraged, supported, commented on, and taken the time to read my blog posts. Big hugs to you all.
